Activities

The construction of the sewerage system in the municipality of Kamnik - The project involves the construction of a sewerage system with the total length of 28 kilometers. After the completion of the project it will be possible to connect 3,077 new residents to the sewage system and the treatment plant.

The construction of the sewerage network in the Municipality of Komenda - Within the project a construction of a separate discharge of rainwater and wastewater is being carried out. The project is implemented in settlements Komenda, Moste, Suhadole, Gora, Gmajnica, Podboršt, Mlaka and Žeje. All waste water in the area are evacuated by the newly designed channels into an existing sewage collector in the municipality Mengeš. After the completion of the project 2,995 additional PE (2473 PE of the population and 522 PE of the activities) are expected to be connected.

Sewage area north of Mengeš and under Grobeljska cesta - sewage network in the municipality Mengeš is part of a single system, which consists not only from the Mengeš sewer system but also form the sewages that are in the municipality of Domžale, Komenda, Kamnik and Trzin and ends in the CTP Domžale - Kamnik. The project is being carried out in an area north of Mengeš - over the discharge relief valve and in the area under Grobeljska cesta. Implementation of the planned works has been carried out since 2014, the works will be completed in 2016.

The upgrade of the CTP Domžale - Kamnik comprises the upgrading of the existing wastewater treatment plant to the tertiary biological treatment with the technology of sequential batch reactor and the construction of an input object with the adoption of the cesspool sludge, which will increase the operational safety, allow the efficient secretion of sand and larger particles, arrange appropriate hydraulic inlet on CTP, increase the quantities of coarse purification of rainwater and reduce air emissions.
